Our Team

Lillian Kelley, a proud North Carolina native, has dedicated her life to education and community service. She began her career in the classroom, teaching elementary and junior high students across North and South Carolina. Her passion for learning and leadership eventually led her to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she worked as an education specialist and assistant to the director in the Continuing Education Department. During this time, she also earned her Master’s Degree in Education Supervision.

 

Lillian’s path naturally progressed into school administration, but in 1980, she took a bold step and founded T & T Tutor World, Inc. What started as a vision has grown into a multi-state organization that sponsors child care providers through the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Today, T & T Tutor World supports providers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington, DC, helping ensure that children age 12 and under receive nutritious meals in a nurturing environment.

Outside of her work, Lillian is deeply rooted in her faith and community. She’s an active church member, sings in the Women’s Choir, and gives her time freely to help those in need. She’s also a proud mother and grandmother, whose love for family drives her mission to support other families through education and nutrition.
